Music should be about the music. Here is how we protect your account and your data, and what you can do to stay safe on Heartist.
Keep your account safe
Sign in needs a confirmed email address. Use a password you do not use anywhere else, or sign in with Google or Facebook. Changing or resetting your password signs out every other device. Repeated wrong passwords lock sign-in for a few minutes.
Your data, your choice
You can update your name, bio, location and password in your profile. To see, correct, export or delete your data, write to us and we will answer within a month.
Cookies
Heartist sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to show the right time zone. No advertising and no third-party tracking.
Buying safely
Pay only inside Heartist: coins, releases and merchandise are bought at the checkout, never by sending money to a profile. We do not store your full card number. If an order goes wrong, you are covered by our purchase terms.
Report something
Impersonation, spam, stolen music, harassment: tell us with a link and a few words, and we will review it. Copyright owners can use the dedicated notice process.
What we do to protect you
Passwords are stored hashed, sessions are HttpOnly cookies, important actions are written to an audit log, and artists' professional contacts are visible only to their own workspace.
